Haji Zahid Parvez Khan Elected President of United Muslim Front in Chandigarh

A newly formed non-political organization will work for social welfare, education, health, and community development. Chandigarh: The Muslim community of Chandigarh has come together to establish a new non-political organization named the United Muslim Front (UMF). In a community meeting held on Saturday, Haji Zahid Parvez Khan was unanimously elected as the first President of the organization. The United Muslim Front has been founded with a vision to serve society, particularly focusing on underprivileged and economically weaker sections. The organization aims to carry out social welfare activities in critical areas such as health, sports, and education, while also working to preserve and promote traditional values within the community. Another important objective of UMF is to extend cooperation and support to the government and administration during times of crisis or natural calamities. Several respected members of the Muslim community participated in the founding meeting, including Sadiq Sheikh (Sector 29), S.A. Khan (Sector 28), Haji Ahmad Ali (Sector 56), Haji Zahir Ahmad (Sector 21), Gurmel Khan (Burail, Sector 45), Fahmid Ahmad, Arif Hussain (Manimajra), Mazahir Hussain (Sector 29), Haji Salim Darwa, Istiyaq Ahmad (Sector 26), Dr. Hasan (Manimajra), Rais Babu (Manimajra), Haji Yunus (Sector 26), and Zeeshan-ul-Haq (Sector 14-W, Dhanas).
