Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha tied the knot in 2024, and since then, Parineeti has mostly stayed out of the spotlight. Now, nearly two years after their wedding, the couple is set to appear on The Great Indian Kapil Show. However, according to a report by IANS, the shoot had to be cut short after Raghav’s mother fell ill, leading to the filming being halted midway. She was promptly taken to the hospital for medical attention. The production team is now expected to coordinate with Raghav and Parineeti to reschedule and re-shoot the episode. As of now, there has been no further update on Raghav’s mother’s condition. Had everything gone as planned, this would have marked Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra’s first joint appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show. The popular comedy show has previously welcomed a wide range of celebrities, including Salman Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Ali Fazal, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Anurag Basu, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Gautam Gambhir, Rishabh Pant, Yuzvendra Chahal, Abhishek Sharma, Jaideep Ahlawat, Vijay Varma, Pratik Gandhi, Jitendra Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur, Vindu Dara Singh, Sanjay Mishra, Ravi Kishan, Kubbra Sait, and Deepak Dobriyal. Parineeti was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila. She also has an upcoming Netflix series in the works. Though currently untitled, the project boasts a strong ensemble cast that includes Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jennifer Winget, Harleen Sethi, Chaitannya Choudhry, Sumeet Vyas, and Anup Soni. Filming for the series has already been completed, but the title and official release date are yet to be announced. Veteran filmmaker Chandra Barot dies at 86 after battling pulmonary fibrosis

Veteran filmmaker Chandra Barot, best known for directing the iconic 1978 film Don starring Amitabh Bachchan, passed away on July 20 at the age of 86. He had been battling pulmonary fibrosis for the past seven years and was admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital. The news of his passing was confirmed by his wife, Deepa Barot. Salman Khan to begin filming Battle of Galwan in August, studio shoot followed by intense Ladakh schedule: Report

After months of preparation, Salman Khan is all set to step into the shoes of a real-life hero for his next film, Battle of Galwan. The project, inspired by the chapter on Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu from Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh’s acclaimed book India’s Most Fearless 3 (2022), is slated to begin production in early August. A set replicating key locations has been under construction and is expected to be completed by the end of July. According to a source close to the production, the Mumbai schedule will primarily focus on the early character-building segments. “The Mehboob Studio shoot is essential as it captures the protagonist’s backstory and personal moments before the action escalates,” the reported quoted a source explained. “The production design team has been working tirelessly to create a detailed and immersive set that reflects the setting with authenticity.” Following the 10–12 day studio schedule, the unit will move to Ladakh, where the more physically demanding portion of the film will be shot. A unit insider revealed that the upcoming outdoor schedule includes combat sequences, night shoots, and simulated battle scenes set in the high-altitude terrain. “The Ladakh leg will be challenging,” the insider noted. “Salman has been preparing since May, undergoing physical training and familiarizing himself with military combat requirements for the role.” It is worth noting that this comes days after Bollywood Hungama reported that Battle Of Galwan will not be releasing on Eid 2026. Laddi is currently listed among India’s most-wanted individuals by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
